    1. Positional righteousness at salvation

    2. Perfect righteousness in heaven.

  2. Follow faith. Heb 13.7

    1. Sometimes people surrender to be seen by people.

    2. Too often we dwell on those that fell out. Look at the finishers.

    3. Faith is going through a tunnel when you can’t see the end.

    4. Don’t exit in doubt what you entered by faith.

  3. Follow charity. Love in action. Cor 13.1

    1. Be strong in your love to the brethren.

    2. Be strong in your love and reverence for the Bible.

    3. In your love for prayer.

    4. For the perishing

    5. For the Saviour.

  4. Follow peace. Heb 12.14

    1. To get along with others.

    2. Live honestly.

    3. Have a good testimony.

    4. Everybody is mistreated. Get over it.

If you do anything for the Lord, expect opposition.

Learn to rejoice when people excel past you.

My job is bigger than your discouragement.

  1. Start with a burden.

  3. Finish the job.

 

  1. Keep on in spite of critics.

    1. “It can’t be done.”

    2. “You can’t do it.”

  2. Remember where your strength comes from. Ps 125

We should not be jealous of other Christians.

 

  • 45.1-6 for those who have been forgiven much.

  • 7-9 those who have experienced the grace of God.

  • Those who have seen God’s providing hand in the midst of a wicked world. 10-12

  • Those who have seen His glory. 12; Cor 2.9

  • Those who have been the objects of his tender affection. 14

  • Privileged to talk to Him. 14

    • His love is always the same.

 

Remember Who you are going to see and just keep going.

 

  1. Do not fret or be disquieted in the face of jealousy.

    1. Eph 4.17-24

  2. Do not be provoked or enraged by the bitter misdeeds of others.

    1. Eph 4.25-32

  3. Do not be troubled or afraid by the small stuff.

  • Not allowing sinners to live forever is an act of grace.

Here are some highlights from this weeks “boring preacher.”

  • People do not reject salvation because a lack of information but a lack of inclination.
  • It’s not that we don’t love people, we love the truth.
  • If the literal makes sense, seek no other sense, lest you have nonsense.
  • The Hebrews worshiped on Saturday because God rested on the seventh day after creating everything. We worship on Sunday, because God did something greater than creation – salvation.
  • God has to have an adversary.
  • The Bible clarifies not clouds.
  • Evangelicalism is so soft on the edges that there are no walls.
  • It is His day, not just morning. (Church Sunday morning and Sunday night.)
  • I like the label and the contents to be right.
  • Bad doctrines will cause people to do stupid things.
  • God can judge the earth because He made it.
  • You educate a bunch of devils, you have a bunch of educated devils.
