Got to go to H&H Gun Range with Dr. Vineyard and a couple others. Got to load 32 round clips for an Uzi and 42 round clips for an MP5. Got to shoot two rounds from an Uzi. Nice.

“We” did a children’s church story in speech class today. Patricia G thanked me for getting the humor going. She was the first one to give a story, I think, and I think I answered her second question. Whatever the question was, the answer wasn’t “Jesus,” but, hey, for a three year old, it was a good guess.

That’s how things go.

I remember the look on Jon’s face when I said “Joker fuel.” That was probably 5-7 years ago.

It was probably the same look I had on my face when I heard “Tokyo Express” for the first time in, oh maybe five years.

Thought I’d share that.

It is an absolutely beautiful day outside. Heaven must be like this. Wow. Amazing. Probably low 70’s, slight occasional breeze… almost feels like Minnesota.

Wow. At least it was all guys.

Anyway, four guys went bowling. I took the first game with a 167, and Jesse took the second game with a 150-something. I scored a 125. Bones wasn’t even trying, and Jeff just didn’t have it, I guess. Then we went to pizza hut. I almost lost my pizza once. No joke -  it was coming out and I managed to catch it in time. We had quite a time. There was a guy working there who seemed to talk in a yelling type voice – “THANKS FOR COMNG!” “I NEED FOUR PIZZAS FOR THE BUFFET,” etc. Quite funny.

Calvin: Hey dad, remember our car?

Dad: Why sure…. Wait a minute. What do you mean, “Remember?”
