Since I got my new, relatively large 120gb HDD, I’ve been playing around with different Linux distros. I decided to give openSUSE 10.2 a try.
I downloaded the 3.61 GB ISO. I used VirtualBox to install it inside Windows XP. After install, it asks if I want to download updates. I think, “Sure! Why not?”
Well, I “select all.” Download size? ~2.5GB. Wow, thanks, at 300kbs, that’ll only take 3-4 more hours until I can use my OS. What a great idea! That and I only allocated 6 GB to the OS in VirtualBox. I don’t have 2.5GB left.
This after my latest Fedora 7 debacle…
Update
Wireless not detected. Sound not detected. At least F7 did that. Bye, SUSE. Until next time…
